Roof cleaning
Roof cleaning is the work. Tile, terracotta and Colorbond, washed properly with a softwash so the growth actually comes off.

A softwash, not a blast
Lichen, moss and the black streaks in tile don't shift because you hit them harder. They shift when the treatment kills the growth and a low-pressure rinse takes it away. That's a softwash.
High pressure is a rough way to treat tiles. It can crack them and blow the pointing out. We don't clean roofs like that. The result is the part people notice: day and night, next to a wash that only knocks the loose dirt around.
The roofs, and getting onto them
Around here it's mostly terracotta and concrete tile, with plenty of Colorbond. Coastal roofs pick up salt and lichen. Further up the escarpment and into the Highlands it's the damp that feeds the growth. Sydney throws in tight access, steeper two-storey pitches and solar bolted across the face.
We've been roof cleaning for 3.5 years, and this is the job we know. The setup we run gets us onto roofs and into spots most pressure cleaners and roof cleaners struggle with. Steep pitches, awkward valleys, places you can't just stand a ladder and hope.
What the price covers
Roof cleans from $699. That's a starting price, not a flat rate for every house. Size, pitch, how dirty the tile is, and how we get up there all change the quote. You get the price before anything is booked.
Gutters are a separate job unless a quote says otherwise. If the valleys are packed with leaves we'll say so when we look, and price the gutter clean on its own.
